About Me:

Hello! You can call me lordofpierogies. I am a 20-year-old university student studying for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History. I hail from the western prairies of Canada.

Interests:

  • Tabletop Role-Playing Games (e.g. Call of Cthulhu, which is my favourite TTRPG)
  • Alternative Music (e.g. twenty one pilots, Sleep Token)
  • Leftism
  • Anime (e.g. Re:ZERO, which you should seriously check out if you haven't already. It is amazing.)
  • Video Games (mainly RPGs which shouldn't be surprising, but I also play a bunch of other multiplayer games so I can play with some friends of mine.)

About This Site:

This page exists because I got quite sick of the algorithmic AI slop that I keep getting fed on all the social media platforms I'm on. After watching some decadeology videos and delving deep into the 90s era of the Internet, I learned about the "indie web." Neocities was the first thing I learned about and how it emulates what Geocities used to do in the past before it ended.

I hope that I can use this site as an opportunity to learn, not just HTML/CSS/Javascript, but also more about myself as a person. I think sites like these, due to the sheer customizability of them, lend themselves to more authentic self-expression. I would like to take advantage of that.
